Fire Department yanked in 2014 less than year before

The Fire Department is in 2014 138,000 times ripped out to fire or aid. That's eight thousand times less than in 2013.

That turns out Tuesday from the figures of the Central Statistical Office (CBS).
The number of fire reports that came in in the emergency room took to in 2014. With four thousand to over 130,000 messages.

That the Fire Department had to snatch, less often has to do with the fact that most cases can be handled in the emergency room.
Most reports received via automatic fire detectors. About 40 percent. The fire brigade belt active after to make sure there actually is a fire. But also in telephone messages did the fire less often in action.


Aid took the number of requests for assistance in relation to 2013 with six thousand messages. The Fire Department is often used in the provision of assistance in case of accidents and at support at flooding and storm damage.


The emergency rooms of the security regions Zeeland and Limburg-South acted most often incidents to the emergency room. That happened in about 70 percent of the cases. The emergency rooms of the regions Noord-Holland-Noord, Kennemerland and Flevoland acted 10 percent on the Central af.
