Students drag HU to court

The National Student Law Office (LSR) drags the Hogeschool Utrecht to court on behalf of aggrieved students of the Bachelor Medical Care (BMH). According to the LSR would the students' large study delays "have suffered from the negligence of the school.

Last year it was revealed that the students who followed the training was almost impossible to graduate. Students could not find any placement because they could not register with the BIG register. This is a registry where officially recognized health professionals are listed.

"Because college students are not sufficiently correspond, the LSR with students initiated a procedure. It could not be that students there only to find out halfway through their study that their diploma is not worth what they promised, "the LSR.

75 STUDENTS
About 75 students were duped by the delay. "We recognize those numbers do not," said a spokesman for the Hogeschool Utrecht. "There is a lawsuit in which five students have filed an individual claim. Running the lawsuit, we do not deal with individual cases of these students, "the spokesman said.

The bachelor Medical Assistance trains students to become paramedics, emergency room staff and anesthesia personnel. The judge leans on December 1 about the case.
