'Agent who sold secret information, led luxurious life'

The politiemol that would have sold sensitive information to criminals, the Weertse Mark M. He lived a luxurious life so RTL News reported, based on its own research. The 28-year-old Mark M. was driving a Porsche Cayenne, wore expensive watches, regularly went on holiday and had at the time of his arrest a sloppy 235,000 in cash lying in his house.

Agents arrested on 29 September a colleague on suspicion of corruption, dereliction of duty and money laundering. The man would have to pay secret information sold to the underworld.

In the center of Weert living M. has been six years working for the police. Before that he took photographs for the local Nieuwsweert.nl in the so-called 112-news: fire and accidents. His new employer, however, seemed to pay a lot better. Since he worked at the police, he stopped taking pictures. Not much later, he was driving around in a Porsche Cayenne.

UNDER LOCK AND KEY

M., married an Eastern European woman, was also an entrepreneur. In 2009 he started a company that deals in outerwear and early this year he started Drive-R, which rents according to the commercial cars. His main source of income, however, seems to sell secret information to be criminals.

Meanwhile, the agent is stuck fortnight. Later Wednesday he hears the judge whether he remains behind bars must remain seated.
