The convicted real estate dealer Jan Dirk Paarl mountain is already one and a half months at home and not in the cell. That says his lawyer, Geert-Jan Knoops, against the people's newspaper.
His four-year prison sentence is suspended because of medical conditions, according to the Volkskrant. He is now at home, in his castle in Maarssen.
Paarlberg was sentenced to four years in prison for money laundering in 2012, scams and tax fraud. He was convicted of money laundering 17 million that Willem Holleeder had extorted by real estate dealer Willem Endstra.
