Terror IS Movement is behind the threat of a terrorist attack on New Year's Eve in Munich. So says the interior minister of the German state of Bavaria.
Was, according to the chief of police in Munich IS planning to commit a suicide attack in the city. The German intelligence received a tip from a friendly intelligence service, probably French.
No suspects caught yet
According to the minister the warning about a possible attack was so serious that it could not be ignored. So far, nothing has happened in Munich. There are probably five to seven people behind the terrorist threat, but police have no suspects arrested yet.
Residents of Munich were public places where large numbers of people and avoid train stations. Two stations were evacuated. Just after 04:00 hours, the stations were released. Via Twitter, the police reported still to remain vigilant.
