CNN has aired an interview with an American 'spy' who has worked in his own words for South Korea.

He would have nuclear and military secrets to North Korea passed to South Korea. It is unclear whether the man speaks the truth.
The 62-year-old man was indeed born in South Korea, but he left in his own words in the eighties to America, where he received an American passport in 1987. He decided about fifteen years ago from America to move to China and started from there a business in North Korea. At one point, he went to work as a spy for "conservative" forces in South Korea, who were planning to silence the regime in North Korea.

Information
North Korea presented the man in a small room at CNN. It shows that he will be accompanied by two soldiers to a camera crew from CNN. He then says that he was in North Korea gave a soldier of money to gather information for him about the army. That information he hid in his car and gave his own words by the government of South Korea.

Espionage
Government services in South Korea deny most emphatically be involved in espionage. The US State Department said it sees no statement about whether the man or is a US citizen. According to a spokesman, the government will in general never come out on US citizens who were stuck abroad.
