Jakarta hit by series of terrorist attacks

On several explosions in the center of the Indonesian capital Jakarta are several people were killed.

A Dutchman hit according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs seriously injured in one of the explosions. The NIS had previously reported that the Dutchman, a UN employee, was killed.

STARBUCKS
The terrorist attack began with an attack on a police station in the middle of the street in the center of Jakarta. After an explosion followed a shootout between the terrorists and the police. The attackers then fled the Starbucks inside, where there was a second explosion.

After the explosions, hundreds of agents sent out to hunt down the perpetrators. Also deployed its special forces and the army. In different streets of the Javanese city of tanks are installed.

SHOT DEAD
According to the Indonesian police four suspected terrorists were shot dead. There was a firefight between the attackers and the police in a cinema which is in the same building as a Starbucks cafe that was attacked. ,, We will soon be able to explain the situation safely, '' police said.

The bombings are clearly terrorist attacks, but as yet there are no indications that militants from Islamic State (IS) behind it, said the head of the Stasi in Jakarta. Joko Widodo President called on everyone to remain calm.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs advises Dutch to stay inside in Jakarta, follow the safety instructions from the authorities and to maintain contact with the embassy.
