Syrian in house attacked, police cars torched

In the Brabant village of Veen Friday asked a Syrian man in his house attacked.

Syririnhuisbelaagdpolitieautoinbrandgestoken-1.jpgUnknown persons threw a brick through the bathroom window. The police car of the police officers who came to the place, then caught fire, probably arson.

The man, who lives alone but a visit from his son, is doing well. He speaks Dutch limited, but got help from neighbors calling the police.

Car on fire
Agents who were on the scene and found that their car was on fire, have tried to extinguish the car using buckets of water. That did not help.

The man from the Syrian city of Homs has lived a half years in Veen. His son, who was visiting, lives in a refugee center in Leeuwarden. His car was three months ago already smeared.
