Terror organization Islamic State (IS) is engaged in the preparation of major new terrorist attacks in Member States of Europe. Before that warns Europol director Rob Wainwright in a new report.

ISberaamtgrootschaligenieuweaanslageninEuropa-1.jpgAccording to analysts of the cooperation of the police in the EU is France taking the greatest risk.

Europol today presented the study at a meeting of Ministers of Justice and Home Affairs of the EU Member States in Amsterdam. "We have every reason to believe it IS on, or other religiously inspired terrorists, somewhere in Europe will commit an attack, particularly in France", the main conclusion from the report.

"The goal will be to make as many civilian casualties." That comes on top of the threat of lone wolves, the report warns. That has not diminished.

That idea is reinforced according to Europol by "strong evidence that there would be another series of attacks in the EU, probably in France or Belgium, but were frustrated by the activities of the police after the attacks of Paris."

The European Ministers in Amsterdam speak about the refugee problem, the increasing polarization in the Member States and the importance of sharing information between intelligence and law enforcement agencies in the fight against terrorists. The latter could be better, Europol concludes.

Threat Britain

The forecast comes a day after IS has published a new video in which the terrorist pronounce a threat against Britain. British Prime Minister Cameron has launched an investigation into the video, said his spokesman today. She also called the film propaganda and she said IS "into disrepair and withdraws."

In the new video put the perpetrators of the attacks in Paris a final statement. Three of them then cut off the head of a prisoner. A fourth shooting a prisoner dead.

In a final scene shows the British Prime Minister David Cameron said in a speech on the attacks in France: "We are with you, united." IS responds with a text that is mounted above the clip: "Those who stand in the ranks of the approximately elovigen, will be the target of our swords and fall in humiliation."
