In Amsterdam Thursday morning there is a 'threat report.
That said Mayor Eberhard van der Laan against the council. When asked whether it was terrorist threat, Van der Laan said that "from that corner" came.
In response, there was a meeting between the mayor, the police chief and the chief prosecutor, said a spokesman of the municipality. Meanwhile, measures have been scaled back.
Van der Laan's report would have to deal with multiple bomb threats at schools in Amsterdam. Police, justice and the city government came into action. Account was taken of a serious threat, but nothing has been found.
Patrol
Police were among others present at the Christian comprehensive school Buitenveldert and the Amsterdams Lyceum. The bomb threat at the Amsterdams Lyceum was made by telephone by an as yet unknown. Some officers took a while for the school patrolled.
The threat would in any case have nothing to do with the organization of the European Union presidency, which is mainly in Amsterdam.
