Inventor wall plug and 'patent King "Arthur Fischer deceased

The German inventor Artur Fischer is deceased at the age of 96. He became world famous by the invention of wall plugs and construction boxes Fischer Technik.

864x486-71.jpgFischer has filed more than 1,100 patents in Germany, including for synchronized flash for still cameras. He is also called the "patent king.

Fischer was sent to the front after school. After World War II he continued after he invented the flashlight, his own company in the Black Forest.

Ten years later - in 1958- he hit a grand slam with the invention of the plug. He also created steel anchors, drilling tools and fastening systems for cement. But cupholders, CD boxes and bins.

In 2014 he received the lifetime achievement award, granted by the European Patent Office to particular inventors for their contribution to technological, social and economic progress.

His name is also attached a price: the Artur Fischer Inventor Award. Which is awarded every two years to students and school classes.

Artur Fischer died in the village of Waldachtal, in the south of Germany. There he was born in 1919.
