Up to seven years in prison for international drug ring

A gang of seven Dutch and immigrant Brussels today convicted by the criminal court of Kortrijk to effective prison terms of three to seven years for their involvement in international cocaine shipments between the Dominican Republic and Antwerp.

On June 11 last year could be captured seven people involved in a raid in Bavikhove. Since then, they stay in the cell. The charge of 21 kilograms of cocaine was just removed from the doors of a first container and loaded into a Mercedes to transfer to the Falconplein in Antwerp.

Two other containers, each with a similar charge would follow from Antwerp, a total of 63 kilograms of cocaine so. Good for a street value of around 3.8 million euros. The seven convicts must each pay a fine of 12,000 to 18,000 euros.
