Two kilograms of explosive in getaway car failed liquidation

The police have in november two kilos of semtex (explosive) found in the getaway car by four men suspected of a failed attempt on winding-up Peter r., alias Pyotr.

media_xll_3581762-3.jpgThe prosecution says this in a comment on a post in the Dutch newspaper NRC Handelsblad about this. With such a quantity of semtex can you cause a hefty blast: 250 grams is enough to make a plane.

Peter r. is a well known by the police and known in the criminal environment. He was shot at several times Thursday afternoon 5 november to the frigate in Diemen. R. sat in a car on a parking lot when he was taken under fire with an automatic weapon. He was hit several times, but survived the attack. R. tried to flee and drove off, after which he and his car ended up in a ditch.

Suspects the perpetrators went there when off in a light-coloured stolen Volkswagen and reason in the direction of the Diemerbos. Immediately after the attack police looked for the surroundings and spoke to witnesses. A police helicopter was also deployed. Eventually, in various places in Amsterdam Osdorp and the four suspects nabbed.

In house search found detectives firearms, balaclavas and bullet-proof vests. The car is also probably used flight in Amsterdam. Peter r. had contacts with the in 2011 in Amsterdam liquidated criminal Stanley Hillis. It is said that Pyotr has been his bodyguard some time.
