After assaulting the 39-year-old woman called the schoolgirls who were under social supervision, the police for a ride home. Their victim was then half-naked and dead on the seat in her own home. She had more than a hundred injuries. Her landlord found later her corpse.

Torture
At the trial of the girls - not by name may not be mentioned - Leeds gruesome details come up. Thus, the murderous teenagers using weapons as a stick with screws, a shovel, a printer, a TV and a coffee table to torture Wrightson. There is evidence that the victim was attacked by twelve different places in her home. According to the prosecution were also broken glass and bits of gravel or grit sprinkled over Wright and Sons naked lower body was burnt paper ash crammed into her ear. The victim begged in vain to save her life.

The girls are now 14 and 15. They deny the charges of murder. But the evidence is overwhelming.

A selfie which was posted on Snapchat shows the two defendants, all smiling and Wrightson in the background. The 39-year-old woman was not dead yet, but had recently battered face. That picture was taken around 21h. In other selfies from the house Wrightson drinking girls a bottle of cider. That was around 22:30. It also left a Facebook call from his home in which to hear the two defendants smiling while encouraging each other to torture Wrightson: "Come on, X, turn her head, beat out Take her, damn it.!"

alcoholic
Angela Wrightson was locally known as Alco Ange, "a nickname she got because of her alcoholism. Neighbors described her as friendly, but they also had the bad reputation to buy cigarettes and alcohol to children. For the police, she was no stranger.

The prosecutor, Nicholas Campbell, said the girls entered the house Wrightson around 19h30 and again left around 23h. She then spoke with a friend, who asked them why they had blood on their clothes. "Fallen", the excuse was. According to the friend told the oldest teenager that she "had done the work while her friend was smoking a cigarette."

The oldest girl wanted then go check in the house or the victim was or was not dead. It was around two o'clock in the morning. "We do not know if they returned to commit more violence or whether Angela Wrightson indeed was already dead when they got there again," said Campbell. But the girls were continued for another two hours with their "humiliating activities on the defenseless Wrightson." Around 4 am the youngest offender then texted her social companion, but did not answer. She called the police but then for a lift.

"Set flash to"
According to police the girls were in the back laughing combi and joking: "They were all excited." An agent heard one of the two say something about Snapchat and "turn the flash on." On the social networking site the younger teen posted an unclear picture with the caption: "I and X yet again in the microwave." The other girl hiding her face in the image.

Both defendants admit that they were on the scene at the time of the torture session. The oldest admits to having beaten to Angela Wrightson, but not with the intention to lift its heavy increasing. The youngest girl denied that she participated in the violence and that she encouraged her friend. The prosecutor alleges that they are both responsible for the deadly attack. The process is ongoing.
