Several mosques have received a threatening letter Thursday in Netherlands. On it are a swastika and the Eagle of nazi Germany, accompanied by the text "high visit Soon!! Pigs. Anti-islam. Islam is false and diabolical religion. "
One of the recipients is the Essalammoskee in Rotterdam. '' It is obvious that we do ' Declaration ', says Deputy Director Jacob Varghese of the largest mosque in the country.
Also the as-Sunnah in the Hague received the letter. '' I have dozens of mosques received notifies, who had here all along. Utrecht, Nijmegen, Rotterdam. We are a bit surprised, we need to think how we deal with this, '' says Board Abdelhamid T.

Ahmed Marcouch of the PvdA has questions about the letters. He wants to know how it is with the search for the senders. He also wants an investigation into the safety of mosques and if necessary '' adequate measures ''.
Disgusting the Council of Moroccan Mosques in Netherlands (RMMN) calls the threatening letters '' disgusting ''. The organization wants the police to detect and the perpetrators continues and that politics does more to mosques. '' It would be good if mosque boards are supported and protected their fundamental rights by the Government '', said the Council.
