A mother who mourns her son has received a mail shot with a picture of the killer in his cell with a raised middle finger.
The woman is shocked and has filed a complaint. The man also maintained a Facebook profile from the prison.
The prison of Leuven-Central investigating Daniel lacosta (30), a prisoner who sits out a sentence of 25 years for murder on French Rahman (34). The mother of the victim last week got an email with a picture of Lady-made clear in his cell-who rears his middle finger to the camera. "It's clear how much respect that man for me, after he has killed all my son: zero," says Ann Verstraeten (59) from Lille.
Despite that the mail from an unknown sender, the mother convinced that lady there himself behind it. "Several days before someone told me that the killer was just on Facebook, from within the prison. Because I want to have nothing to do with those cowardly killer I checked it did not, "said Verstraeten. By the confrontational picture in her mailbox she did though. "He stood there indeed to Excel, between all ordinary people. I wonder: How can this be? Surely this is banned? "
The prison system says it understands the frustration of the mother. "Troubling of victims from prison, we take very seriously," said Spokesman Kathleen of the pond. "The research in prison is on a roll. If we find incriminating elements, there will be of course face sanctions. "
