The Muslim Executive of Belgium (EMB) "strongly condemns without reservation the terrorist attacks of March 22" in the center of Brussels and Zaventem airport.
The organization speaks in a communication on acts of extreme cruelty against innocent civilians today and expresses its condolences to the families of the victims and the wounded.
"These dramatic events in the heart of Europe, complicate the efforts of the society, of the EMB and the entire Muslim community of Belgium in the framework of the harmonious coexistence," the Muslim Executive denounces.
The EMB calls in the name of all Muslim citizens for unity and harmony to form a front against violence and terrorism, and it reaffirms "its commitment to democratic values."
