"If the Belgians continue to eat chocolate and enjoy life and do not realize that a number of Muslims in their country prepare terrorist attacks, they can never adequately fight them," said Israeli Minister of Security Katz this morning on Radio Israel.

A lawmaker from the Likudpartij said the Belgian policy of rapprochement has been responsible for the attack yesterday. "Instead of fighting radical Islam says Belgian Minister Jambon (Interior) that more should be done to young Muslims feel at home in Belgium," said MK Nava Boker.

In a comment to the newspaper Haaretz, raised the question of whether Europe will ever learn to give up a lot of privacy and convenience to tackle the terrorist threat effectively. "Israelis have learned that lesson already long," the newspaper notes.

Both the attacks in Paris and who are prepared in Belgium in Brussels. The country is facing different groups of radicalized Muslims. In late January the Interior announced in Brussels that 117 Syriëstrijders had returned to Belgium.
