"We can not accept that our people in such unsafe conditions to work," said judge Sophie Van Bree.

According to chairman Hennart he had in recent days to the Minister of Justice asked the necessary measures to secure the court buildings around the Place Poelaert. Until now, only there was an access to the large courthouse where the criminal courts sit, and in Portalisgebouw where the prosecutor's office, investigating judges and the juvenile court sitting.

"There has informed me that as soon as possible, five people are recruited to guard the five buildings around the Place Poelaert," said an angry President Hennart. "This is unacceptable. One should stop us to keep the fool and ask to hold things with spit and chewing gum. "

"We may as judges postpone our meetings," says Sophie Van Bree, Judge at the Court of First Instance. "But it Registry staff must continue to work well, while there is no protection for the building and anyone can inside and out. We have been asking for a year that control would be at the entrance, but in vain. "
