Terror Investigation: investigators combing Kortrijks from forest

In the West Flanders Marke near Kortrijk since 8 o'clock a search underway.

In addition to a search on the car park at a Shell gas station now the soldiers have climbed the building of the former star restaurant Villa Marquette. The police action is linked to the investigation into Reda Kriket, the terror suspect who was recently arrested in the Paris suburb of Argenteuil, the federal prosecutor confirms.

More than ten military vehicles pulled into the area, the judicial lab has also started. Officers and soldiers stabbing with stab into the ground.

The former hotel has been vacant for about three years. The district Rodenburg has been closed. The Shell petrol station along the E17 is the last petrol station before the French frontier.

On Monday two houses were searched in Kortrijk after a report of a terrorist threat. There was ultimately found nothing.

Kriket was arrested on 24 March. In his apartment were rifles, pistols and explosives were found, among other things, TATP, the type of explosives which is popular with jihadists of IS.Kriket walked in Belgium earlier convicted in a terrorism case.
