A boy of eight years Sunday night in Amsterdam got punched in the face by a man with a very short fuse.
The child had appeared to be ice at the man's jacket.
The boy was walking with a group of ten children on the Sarphatistraat. They had just had a birthday. One of the children was with his ice against a man approached, and the man was furious, despite apologies from the boy. Then he hit the child in the face. The children were done to respond, so the man could get away.
The police has searched around the aggressor, but no trace was to be seen in. Police are asking witnesses to come forward. The incident happened Sunday night around 19:30.
