According to spokesman Thomas Aling of the National Unity anyone can download the software. "Criminals offer particular packages for phishing. That is easy to make a lot of money and that is attractive to petty crime."

Phishing, for example, in the name of companies fake emails sent to customers. It will be asked to log in, so that criminals have access to the data.

"Apparently there are still many people who fall for phishing.

Tens of thousands of euros earned it. "

These days you no expert on hacking to be more to use the software. "Cybercrime has become a lot more accessible. You must have some knowledge of computers, but it is not as complicated as before."

Easy software for DDoS attacks, however, the police will see fewer. "This technique is more complicated," said Aling. "You do need to have something in the house to use it."

The illegal software is often offered on a hidden part of the Internet that is not indexed by search engines and only accessible via a special browser.
