More and more tenants living relatively expensive

Dutch have more money for a rental on. The Central Bureau of Statistics says that people with relatively low incomes last year, proportionately more rent paid.

They are called 'expensive skewed inhabitants', tenants with low incomes and high rent. According to CBS, so there are more and more.

The numbers:

The Netherlands has a total of 2.9 million households hiring.
In 2009, 8 percent of the tenants an expensive scheefwoner. Last year, it rose to 18 percent

The number of low-skew residents, people who earn a lot and hire cheap, just drops from 28 to 18 percent

The average rent has increased since 2009 by 100 to 654 euros per month
People with an owner-occupied, there have moved forward a little in the last few years. They pay on average 26 euros less in monthly housing costs.

Residents of Utrecht and Noord-Holland paid by the bank made the most on housing costs. Owners were on average spend more than 960 euros a month last year in these provinces and tenants nearly 700 euros.
