According to the inspection is not done enough talented children.

Thijs and Tim
The Inspectorate uses the fictitious 'Thijs' and 'Tim' as an example. They live in the same area and are equally intelligent, but Thijs parents are highly educated and the parents of Tim low educated.

Thijs gets in eighth grade is probably a higher recommendation for high school than Tim. Thijs growing through to higher education, Tim stays or comes at a lower level up. "Same talents, different outcomes," concludes the inspection.

The difference is probably due to highly educated parents are more concerned with the education of their child. They consciously choose a particular school and for a specific school. In addition, teachers and school might prejudice: they unconsciously assume that children of highly educated parents perform better.

split times
"With every change and every selection time can mean the difference between getting the chance of missing a chance. '' The inspection raises education and government to work together" to reverse growing dichotomy.

The report not only the differences between students, but also differences between schools. "Schools with large groups of students from less educated parents often have poor quality, less qualified teachers, higher absenteeism and higher staff turnover, '' writes the inspection.
