For the third time in less than two years in the United States a child killed in an accident with an Ikea cabinet of the Malm type.

The fatal accident occurred as early as February, but is only now coming out. What exactly happened is still studied in the nursery of the 22-month-old victim. It reports the Philadelphia Inquirer.

In two separate incidents cabinets of type Malm deceased in 2014 although two young children. Since then Ikea is warning its customers of the possible instability of the furniture, but that a new death apparently can not occur.

Also for sale in Netherlands
The dresser is also for sale in the Netherlands and here costs about 100 euros. Customers in the US receive their purchase free mounting brackets to secure the cabinet to the wall. In the Netherlands, customers 'different ways' warned that they have strapped their closet. Ikea does on the website, with articles and sit in the drawers stickers with warnings. The mounting is available in the store, Ikea told last year to Yahoo! News.

In the brochure at the Ikea furniture warns customers especially not to climb on the cabinet.

In the earlier fatal incidents passed a two-year-old boy from West Chester (Pennsylvania) in 2014. He got stuck between his bed and a fallen Malmkast with six drawers. The other child was a boy of almost two years from Snohomish Washington. He was a cabinet with three drawers in itself when it overturned, presumably when he wanted to climb on top.

According to the Daily Mail have in America fourteen incidents occurred last year with the cabinet. That would have led to injuries in four cases.
