Injunction against State Referendum

THE HAGUE - The decision of the House of Representatives by negotiating the Treaty Ukraine, according to the Forum for Democracy in violation of the referendum law. The foundation therefore seek a preliminary injunction against the State.

It announced chairman Thierry Baudet Wednesday in EenVandaag.

The law states that the government should come after a referendum as soon as possible 'with a bill to clarify whether the result is or is not followed. That has not happened according to Baudet.

A motion of almost the entire opposition to sweep the cooperation agreement of the table, it did not make Tuesday. The opposition asked the government as soon as possible to repeal the law that approves the Association Agreement between the European Union and Ukraine. There 75 MPs voted against the motion and 71.

The government now wants only just over two months to say how it will just continue with the 'no' voters.

On 6 April the treaty was rejected in a consultative referendum. Just over 61 percent of voters saw nothing in the agreement.

If committed for interim measures should not yet known. There is a crowdfunding action designed to raise money.

Forum for Democracy was AA of the initiators of the referendum on the EU's association agreement with Ukraine.
