The PvdA wants Facebook restores the profile of its Member of Parliament Keklik Yücel. It is according to the party ,, suddenly disappeared. ' Yücel posted Tuesday morning an article on freedom of expression which, according to her should not come under pressure.
,, We find it unacceptable that the profile of a member of parliament who writes a candid story about her motives and ideals is simply offline. We have informed Facebook, with the request to activate the profile once again. To speak with Keklik: we must never let pressurize our free speech, '' says the Labour Party's own Facebook page!.
Yücel is on social media threatened because of her position for Ebru Umar, the columnist who was arrested after critical remarks about the Turkish president.
Facebook is currently investigating the case.
