The Somali terrorist group al-Shabaab has said 43 soldiers killed in an attack on an Ethiopian army base. The African Union States that 110 al-Shabaab militants were killed.
The claim of al-Shabaab is contradicted by the African Union.
Militants of al-Shabaab, the military base in by with a car bomb the gateway to RAM, writes the local Standard Digitaldonderdag. The base is located about 300 km north of the Somali capital Mogadishu.
The attack began just before sunrise. Local residents reported a violent explosion at the basis. Shortly after gunfights broke out that is sure an hour held.
Ethiopian soldiers are stationed on the basis that for the AMISOM peacekeeping mission of the African Union. The peacekeeping mission is intended to bring stability in Somalia and terror groups.
Killing Al-Shabaab claims to have killed 43 soldiers. The Group has in the past, killing dozens of attacks greatly exaggerated, while the Somali authorities often report fewer deaths than there actual cases.
The movement also announced that a number of own fighters is killed.
