At the petrol station Her Rhine, to the A2 between Breukelen and Maarssen, yesterday a man in broad daylight is beaten up by a passenger of a camper. The offender went off.
The victim is a 53-year-old man from Ridderkerk, reports the police. After being a head butt and some kicking against his body had gotten, he became unconscious. He still saw opportunity to call the emergency number 112. The man turns out to have suffered a number of bone fractures.
Camper blocked road he tried around 12:30 pm with his car to pass the camper, which blocked the road at the petrol station. At the time he wanted, went beyond the camper which, in turn, drive away. The man parked his car to buy anything in the shop from the gas station.
Between the pumps and the shop he was approached by a young man at the camper heard. The two had an altercation, after which the abuse followed.
Busy afternoon although it was very busy at the pumping station, no one could prevent the abuse. Police have surveillance images viewed and are looking for witnesses to get a better view of what happened.
