Canada is allow euthanasia

OTTAWA - Canada is henceforth allow euthanasia for terminally ill patients for whom approaching death.

The Canadian Senate voted Friday to a bill that legalizes assisted suicide, Canadian broadcaster CBC reported.

The Senate initially wanted to also allow euthanasia for patients whose death can be a long time coming, but commons put a stop to that. Only the terminally ill to attend appeal for help to end their lives. However, the progressive government of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau called the law a first step on a road that can be prosecuted in the future.

Canada joins with the new euthanasia law in a select list of countries, including the Netherlands, Switzerland and Japan. The law was needed because the Supreme Court had rejected the ban on euthanasia.
