Life for murder Wiels is maintained

The High Council on Curaçao has decided that the lifetime penalty for Elvis k. for the murder of politician Helmin Wiels from Curaçao.

Walker was on 5 may 2013 shot on the beach of Marie Pampoen. He was leader of the then largest political party, Pueblo Soberano (Sovereign People). In 2014 was Elvis k. sentenced for life imprisonment for this murder and two other murders. That sentence remains unchanged, as the Supreme Court ruled Tuesday.

The principals are not prosecuted. In June this year, a suspect arrested in Netherlands at the request of Justice on the Fourth island. The identity of the suspect is still secret.

During the investigation into the murder of popular politician Wiels died already two other suspects.

Elvis k. was foreman of the infamous street gang No Limited Soldiers, which was at war with the rival street gang Buena Vista. This feud led to a Wild West in the summer of 2014-shooting on Curaçao's Hato airport, in which two people were killed.
