ROTTERDAM - The prosecution wants the support of the government and the Russian judiciary continues to refuse to provide radar images of MH17.

"We have the Russian OM now explicitly asked the primary radar data. If no or insufficient yields, chief prosecutor Westerbeke will require political support, "said spokesman Wim de Bruin of the national prosecutor's office in charge of the criminal investigation against the mass murderers of the MH17 passengers.

According to De Bruin should not be talked about "a deadline". But it is clear that it wants the OM images for October. Justice then makes known about the afvuurlocatie and type BUK rocket to the Boeing 777 Malaysia Airlines nearly two years ago over eastern Ukraine was taken off the air.

The prosecution says that the Russian radar data from the outset on her wish list. "Already in the first request for assistance in 2014 at all, for the criminal investigation important information, including the requested radar recordings."

Russia claims not to have kept the rough primary radar images. Military experts believe that nothing because Putin because of the war in Ukraine had installed numerous advanced military radar systems along the border.

Last year Westerbeke conducted in Moscow in the framework of the mutual assistance requests consultations with his Russian colleagues. In March he said to want to escalate it's not on the radar because "more data were needed in Russia."

Meanwhile, the situation is obviously different and heavier artillery into position. Last week Westerbeke had accompanied on his visit to the Russian capital by Herman Bolhaar, the chief executive of the OM. The Russians pointed out that time is running out.

On primary radar images are not only passenger aircraft also see any combat aircraft and the BUK missile. The recordings are important to bring the trajectory of the fired surface-to-air missile into the picture and could be crucial evidence.

Ukraine also claims to have no primary radar because its radar stations or wrecked or would have been in maintenance. "Staff of the radar equipment is about hearing as a witness," said the public prosecutor does not want to disclose what constituted these interrogations.
