Fouilleeractie leads to find 96,000 euros

At the stop and search of two men in Rotterdam found 96,000 euros and a firearm, police reported Wednesday.

On Thursday, August 4th was in the center a 34-year old Dutchman and a 19-year-old man with no fixed residence searched. Agents then found a cash prize of 8,000 euros in bills of 500 euros. That investigation led to a house where a search further € 88,000 - was found in cash.Police also found a lot expensive brand shoes, expensive watches and jewelry. The police also made the car inside which the defendants were when they were checked. In it they found a loaded firearm. Police suspect that the money comes from drug trafficking. The weapon and the vehicle were also seized, as well as a second vehicle which the suspects possessed.

Monday, the first suspect was brought and he became more firmly put after his arrest for 14 days. The other man was sitting in a suspension of pre-trial detention of an earlier suspicion.Tuesday decided the closed session of the court that he is stuck now.

Agents may only search people in some security areas. This action was a check on one of the hotspots in Rotterdam-Centre in Muted Zalmhaven.
