American team to Turkey to extradite Gulen

A team from the US Department of Justice within a few days to Turkey to investigate the allegations towards Turkish Fethullah Gulen.

The team, including consultations with Turkish colleagues on the evidence of the Turks against the spiritual.

Ankara has asked America to extradite Gulen, who lives in the US. According to Turkey, he was behind the coup attempt last month.

A spokesman for the US Department of Justice says that Turkey has not requested extradition because of the coup attempt. There alone in his previous cases in the extradition request. "At present, the Turkish authorities have no formal extradition request on the basis of information which Gülen was involved in the coup."

Biden

Turkish Prime Yilderim said last week that the negotiations had failed extradition, but taken in accordance with the Americans no decision has yet. American justice still looking at whether the request meets all requirements. A judge ultimately decides whether the evidence of the Turks is enough Gülen extradite.

Vice President Biden travels to Turkey next week to talk with the Turks on the issue.
