House of Commons Monday can jump high or low, which comes just brexit

The House of Commons holds Monday a long-awaited debate on the brexit. But how long the debate takes, the parliamentarians can not prevent the withdrawal of Britain from the EU.

After the British had voted in June for the departure from the EU, more than 4.1 million people signed a petition calling for a second referendum. Now the House of Commons may discussing petition, however, said the committee that goes over it, but the House of Commons does not have the power to decide on a second referendum. Therefore, the law should be changed.

Result is respected

The initiative for legislative change which must be taken by the Cabinet, but British Prime Minister Theresa May has already indicated that the result of the first referendum must be respected. If it were up to her, Britain gets so from the EU.

However, the MPs will Monday seize their chance to voice their opinions: many of them wanted to brexit not. Still, May wants the Article 50 procedure, which triggers the brexitonderhandelingen, run without the House of Commons has voted on it. And that's something many opponents shoot down the wrong way.
