Nine new names on Dutch terrorism list

Nine Dutch people are by Minister Koenders of Foreign Affairs to the national terrorism list. Thus the list now out of 61 people and three organizations.

Most are uitreizigers which, according to the Government are involved in terrorist activities in Syria and Iraq, as jihadists who joined.

Foiling terrorists

Of people who are on the list, their assets frozen and their bank accounts and credit cards disabled. It is more difficult for them to commit acts of terrorism or finance. Koenders: "we also want to avoid these people return to Netherlands to here to commit violence. ''

The list is shared throughout the EU. "Against terror must be substantially occurred, in Netherlands and beyond", said the Minister.
