Saouti also prosecuted for apology of terrorism because he was on his Facebook and Youtube profile posted several extremist videos, but that was in his own words to provoke discussion.

Saouti had pulled one of the founders of the Brussels motorcycle 'Kamikaze Riders "along with Abdelwafid Elouassaki, whose two brothers Hakim and Houssein were members of Sharia4Belgium and to Syria.

Saouti and Kerai were arrested on December 27, after police had received information on December 10 the duo was planning an attack on the Grand Place of Brussels, the head of the police commissariat in Brussels on the Coal Market. The inquest finally gave no indication that indeed there were plans for an attack.

During the investigation it was found that Saouti on his Facebook and YouTube profiles videos posted which could be interpreted as extremist by the court.

"But I'm not extremist," Saouti said. "I was a bit frustrated by all amalgams about Muslims and the continued stigmatization. I then posted some things which may no longer would post but I did it mainly to show where the extremists were able to, not because I agree with them. "
