Police Manatee County in the US state of Florida have arrested a 34-year-old woman because she had paid a hitman to deal with her ex-husband.
The agents received a tip in August which Rachael Nathalie Leahy (34) wanted to murder her ex-husband. With the help of the informant, the police put an undercover agent to pose as assassin. The informant had to give her just his number. The next day they had already snapped: Leahy called him.
Her first and favorite scenario to overcome David Joseph Leahy Jr. (59) out of the way seemed slightly less realistic. She wanted to let abduct him to force him afterwards to become a sex slave abroad. The reason why he had to disappear? Leahy wanted her children back and found that she had been long enough love.

During a meeting the undercover agent received divorce papers also presented. This showed that the woman would get a benefit from the life of her ex-husband when he died.
Leahy was certainly determined, because she had paid the "assassin" an advance of more than 4,000 euros. When she told him that she still a second "job" had for him, the police intervened.
On August 22 the woman was arrested. Last week she appeared in court, after which she was released on bail with an ankle strap.
