Telecom providers should clearly inform their subscribers of changes to their contract.

They should not automatically assume that a silent Subscriber automatically agrees. This is stated in stricter rules which the authority has published Consumer Market (ACM) & Friday.

If telecom companies inform customers that something changes in their contract, often remains vague what the change means. Who does not agree on its own initiative in the pen must also climb. That's according to ACM many consumers a thorn in the eye.
"Anyone with a telephone subscription should be confident that his telecommunications company gives good information about changes in the contract," said Henk Don ACM driver. "It is worrying that that was not always so in practice. With the new rules in the hand tightened ACM supervision. "
