El Ghazi laments: "Had gladly played with Ziyech"

Two gems of Dutch fields last week took a major decision in their careers.

Anwar El Ghazi (Ajax) and Hakim Ziyech (FC Twente) decided to come out in their careers respectively Orange and the Moroccan national team. El Ghazi respects the choice of Ziyech for Morocco, but he'd like to work with the playmaker played in Orange.

That tells the winger of Ajax at De Telegraaf. "I have not personally had contact with Hakim, but he of course followed in recent weeks. He is a good player and I am really happy for him that he has chosen Morocco. They have to accept everyone," he explains. "I think it's a shame because I would have liked to play soccer with him. He has to make his mark, to show what he can do. And then all will be well."

El Ghazi heard Friday that he is part of the pre-selection of the Dutch team for the matches against Kazakhstan and the Czech Republic. That is a reward for the top scorer of the Premier League.
"It's going well at Ajax, I'll do my best. Over a total number of goals I have not thought about, but I want to continue this."
