Feyenoord is thanks to a simple home win on Excelsior further resulted in number three AZ. In the tub won the formation of trainer Giovanni van Bronckhorst, 3-0. Captain Dirk Kuyt made it two.

Because number four AZ earlier in the evening with 4-2 lost to PSV, Feyenoord has done good business with the childlike simple win on number sixteen Excelsior. Feyenoord now stands five points, with five more on place three separate duels in the Eredivisie.
