15-year-old terrorism suspect Sittard free again

The 15-year-old girl from West London that is stuck on suspicion of involvement in a terrorist organization, is released. The pantry ruled Thursday that her detention is not extended.

The prosecutor may appeal, but has not yet decided about that.

The teenager is placed under the supervision of child welfare. "That means that they will receive help and guidance in the near future," explains her lawyer Björn Brinkman.

According to the prosecution she is "not suspected of a specific attack." If she wanted exits to the field of Islamic State (IS), the public prosecutor can not say.

The prosecution also says not to any terrorist organization is involved and whether more people have been arrested. The investigation continues and the girl remains a suspect, said the prosecutor.

The girl was arrested early this month.
The lawyer would not substantively discuss her case because it involves a minor.
