'Top ministry actively involved in photo Volkert van der G.'

The top of the Ministry of Security and Justice was aware that there was a photograph of Volkert van der G. was made in May last year.

Reported NRC Handelsblad. Making the snapshot, two weeks after the parole of the murderer of Pim Fortuyn, occurred despite a media ban for Van der G. in close consultation with the National Coordinator for Counterterrorism (NCTb).
