"Hardly capacity for protection shelters'

Municipalities with reception centers have a hard time with security. Police have Hardly any capacity, says Bernt Schneiders, President of the Dutch Association for Mayors.

"The whole security up. The refugees must want bed, bath and bread, as well safety," said Schneider in the Telegraph in response to the storming of an emergency shelter in Woerden. "We need to look at how we now arrange rural well. The use of private security guards is a possibility."

A spokesman for the National Police recognizes that the security of relief may create a bottleneck. "The events in Woerden will have an effect on the deployment of the police." The spokesman stressed that there is always more work than capacity. "There will continue to be other things."

Big mess
Police union ANPV fears that undercapacity police playing tricks if indeed more permanent tent camps are built. "If we our agents even in those places must wager you can not use elsewhere in the region. It will be a big mess."

The Ministry of Justice late in the Telegraph knowing the suggestion of Schneider - to deploy private security guards - to bring in a subsequent consultation with the mayors.
