Badr Hari sentenced on appeal to two years in prison

Kick Boxer Badr Hari is on appeal was sentenced to two years' imprisonment, of which ten months probation. The Public Prosecutor (OM) had three-year jail sentence for him.

Badr Hari was tried for a number of assaults in Amsterdam nightlife, including that of businessman Koen Everink at Sensation in the Amsterdam ArenA in 2012.

No preconceived plan
Hari was sentenced in first instance to the first one and a half years in prison, including six months probation. When the prosecutor asked for a prison sentence of four years. When the appeal came prosecutor concluded that there was no question in the abuse of Everink of a preconceived plan, which has previously been suggested.
