The pilots of the Russian airliner which crashed last Saturday over Egypt, did not arrive that something would go wrong. Therefore, the presumption is that there may have been an explosion.
This is evident, according to Russian media of sound recordings in the cockpit. Earlier it was announced that there was a flash of light is detected by a US infrared satellite.
The recordings would show that the pilots were just talking to each other just before the crash.

In the disaster were all 224 passengers died. Three days after the plane crash in the Egyptian Sinai desert, the cause is still unclear. The phone with Russian tourists is probably in the air disintegrated. Possibly so by an explosion. But this is most likely not caused by an anti-aircraft missile. Because the US infrared satellite has picked up no heat trail of a rocket.
Bomb aboard
A bomb on board of the aircraft can not be excluded. The explosion of a fuel tank or breaking off the tail - that was damaged before - are possible causes of the crash.
