Police are again fully fining

For months were negotiations between the police unions and Minister Van der Steur (Security and Justice) still. In the meantime, agents conducted plenty of action and fines were not collected.

"Now the parties' negotiated between the operations are suspended," said a spokesman for the Dutch Police Union. "Since yesterday evening there is again talk and there is scope again."

More pay
Police Associations conduct action for months for higher wages and better working conditions. They made themselves heard at the start of the football and the start of the Tour de France and in the Netherlands there was a big demonstration in The Hague.

A proposal for pay rise, according to the Cabinet more than 5 percent, rejected the unions earlier. They called it an own cigars, because that increase is also money that would otherwise be used for pensions.
