Marc Overmars has as far as Ajax know nothing done that could not pass muster.
That left the club Tuesday following an article in the Volkskrant. It states that the principal players policy itself may have been guilty of unethical behavior.
From e-mails owned by the newspaper would appear that Overmars has applied for a construction project for a busy construction company where he also privately does business to hire.
He would also setting up a new school in the youth complex Futures have been awarded to the company of his brother.
According Ajax Overmars has indeed put forward a construction company with which he has had good experiences. However, he was not involved in the decision on the award of the contract.
The project on The Future Overmars reported the importance it had in the Supervisory Board and he played neither a role in the final decision.
Or following the publication will be further investigated in Ajax, according to a spokesman unclear.
