Three men arrested for fraud labels

The investigation and the Dutch food and consumer product safety authority (VWA-IOD) has three men arrested on suspicion of fraud at labels babymelk powder.

drie-mannen-opgepakt-etikettenfraude-1.jpgThe men from South Holland counterfeit labels stuck on the cans, making it seemed like the food was suitable for babies with a cow's milk allergy.

The looks they sold to traders who export to China the power supply.

NUTRICIA warned in June that labels on cans of diet food for babies with cow's milk allergy, Nutrilon Pepti 1 and Nutrilon Pepti 2, possible were falsified. By the falsification of the label these cans contain no Pepti but Nutrilon Nenatal 1, a power supply that is intended for premature babies.

If children with milk allergy this drink, they can get a severe allergic reaction.
