Saudi Arabia appears to be about more than fifty to behead those convicted of terrorism. Among the convicts are three men who were minors when they were arrested.
The publication of an article in the newspaper Okaz, which has close ties to the Saudi Interior Ministry has families of the convicted and human rights organizations believe that the execution could take place anytime.
According to insiders, the plan to behead the men in several cities in the country, most likely after Friday prayers, reports the British newspaper The Independent.
Saudi Arabia has this year already 151 people to behead, but this would be the first executions of terrorism. Amnesty International recently sounded the alarm about this number: it is the highest number of executions in the country in twenty years time.
More judges
The number could be increased this year because last year more judges are appointed. Saudi Arabia has long been in the top five countries where most death sentences are carried out. In 2014 in third place after China and Iran, countries with significantly more people than Saudi Arabia.
Almost half of those executed in Saudi Arabia are foreigners. Of these, 45 were convicted of charges that had to do with drug trafficking.
Vulnerable groups
According to Amnesty International foreigners even more vulnerable to the severe sentences than people of the country itself. Many foreigners, moreover, did not speak Arabic and have no interpreter pose during the proces.Saudi Arabia that every accused before the judge gets a fair chance.
